Würde mich mal interessieren wie detailiert die angaben zu den Galaxien das sind?
Entfernungen? Koordinaten? Bilder?
Hab da an Redshift 4 gedacht.
5er ist mir noch zu teuer.

An deiner Stelle würde ich mich auf CdC und SIMBAD "beschränken". Da bekommst du sehr viel präzisere Angaben, bist flexibler und bezahlst weniger.

von Redshift 4 war ich nicht so begeistert…
Das Programm stößt bei steigender erfahrung schnell an seine Grenzen.

Fals du haupsächlich daten suchst, kannst dus auch mal mit Guide 7 oder 8 probieren.
Da bekommt man zu einem Objekt gleich eine Fülle von Informationen aus den verschiedensten Katalogen.

round, very gradually brighter in middle of nucleus; = M33

Kommentare aus Steve Coe's Beobachtungsberichten:

NGC 598 (M33)  Very bright, extremely large, elongated 2 X 1 in PA 0, much
brighter in the middle at 100X.  From my darkest Arizona sites this object
is naked eye with averted vision.  It is immediately obvious in a finder or
binoculars.  In the 13" at 165X, several H II regions are visible,
including NGC 604 in the northern arm.
On the best of nights this object is spectacular, showing a beautiful 'S'
pattern superimposed over a background glow. The entire face of the galaxy
shimmers with mottling. The brightest globular cluster is a stellar point
of about 14th mag at 220X on a night I rated 9/10 for seeing.  I wish I had
a big enough scope to show globulars in external galaxies as something
other than a stellar point.
Sentinel 10/10 Super night  Just seen naked eye, about 1/3 the
size of the AND Galaxy.  11X80 shows a bright, large, brighter
middle, elongated 2X1 in PA 30 in a rich star field.  The best
view is with the 13" and a 14mm eyepiece, 3 spiral arms, many
knots, NGC 604 obvious, core bright.
Ultimate Star Party, McDonald Obs. Oct. 95, S=6, T=8, 36" f/5–
M 33 in 36" f/5 with 27mm is amazing.  The detail that is seen within the
arms of this face-on galaxy equals what can be seen in photographs from
the
48 inch Schmidt camera, it is un-drawable.  The curved arms are filled
with
bright spots from the core to the tips of the spiral.  I counted 20 bright
areas in the arm which I see as "up".  I can see the difference between
Population I and Population II areas in the galaxy.  The stars in the core
form a smooth surface to the central section that is light yellow, whereas
the arms are splotchy and bluish.
next night-
M33 in 36" 27mm;  undrawable, three arms, one up and two down.  All with
massive lumps in all the arms.  HII regions in all areas, central bright
regions has almost stellar core.
